About the menu

Rebgut Haltnau offers a charming blend of a traditional beer garden and a casual self-service restaurant right on the scenic Uferpromenade in Meersburg. Nestled on the edge of Lake Constance, this spot is a haven for cyclists, hikers, and anyone seeking a relaxed break with breathtaking waterfront views. The highlight here is undoubtedly the Flammkuchen—a crispy, pizza-like specialty that pairs perfectly with their homemade wines and refreshing spritzers like the classic Aperol.

The relaxed self-service setup encourages guests to unwind at their own pace, savoring the peaceful atmosphere away from the busy town. Though the food menu is limited, it focuses on quality and local charm rather than variety. Cash is preferred, adding to the traditional vibe.

Overall, Rebgut Haltnau is a perfect stop for a light, flavorful bite paired with excellent drinks and stunning natural beauty—a truly memorable experience that captures the spirit of the Bodensee region.

First of all: an absolute recommendation for this Biergarten! If you come here on your bike, on a hike or just for a snack, you certainly won't regret it. We were there with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet for a little refreshment on the drive through. And it was wonderful. We had a spot right by the water and ate tarte flambée under a parasol and drank a spritzer. Please note: only cash is accepted here, you cannot pay by card. In other words, we didn't go to the restaurant, which, judging by the quality of the tarte flambée, must be pretty good. And of course we were lucky with the etter, so that even #Littlefeet had their feet in the water. Even in the small parking lot, we were glad when we arrived that a car was driving away. In addition to the delicious tarte flambée, there is also delicious homemade wine straight from the vineyard. All in all, a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!
